It makes sense... you know... due to the bad weather... you start going out less... more nights in... things start getting proper cosy... she starts spending more time at your house... it's all nice and rosy at the beginning... matching long johns' and everything...
But then you realise she is always there... she starts leaving her boots, hair straighteners and facial wipes all over the place... you even find her spare head-tie under your pillow...
She starts checking your phone... asking you where you been? who did you go with?... making you feel like you're being watched... under surveillance.
Then she starts hyping over the littlest things, daily... so tired of her hype sessions that you feel to walk out of your OWN house! madness...
Realising that you can't take anymore of the moods... the "it's nothing's" and the "I'm fine's"... you weigh up your options ... either bounce or jamm and suffer her wrath! Something that started off so sweet has turned so sour. Now you're trapped... you consider bouncing but you can't... it's too late cos now you love the
.... Anyway, now that I've successfully put you off settling down... I thought I'd post something for those in loving blissful relationships (.. 2% of you!)... Here's the video for Ne-yo's latest single, "Mad"... It's off his album... the Year of the Gentleman (... obviously, there aren't any gents round ere, fam!) enjoy!
Damn... Ne-Yo loves his headgear... refuses to take that hat off... I bet he wears a head-tie to bed.. and what's up with all this singing in the rain business... Usher, Ray J and now Ne-yo... I didn't realise singing and dancing in the rain solved relationship problems, I must remember to try that one next time.
But on a serious note, the song/video has a meaningful message... love the one you're with today because you never know what might happen tomorrow...
Even though being in a relationship can sometimes feel like being on an emotional roller-coaster... the fussing and fighting... the petty arguments... the constant accusations... generally getting boy'd... it's all worth it (if you feel for her). remember it's better to have loved and been boy'd than to never have loved at all...
To the fellas remember wifeys' are for life, not just for Christmas! and to my beautiful queens remember make love, not war... always love.

Although it's nice to have someone to cuddle up to in the winter months, it is a well known fact that January is the most depressing month of the year and also known as the "Month of Heartbreak". So... not to burst anyone's bubble, is it really worth getting all cosy in Nov/Dec when it's all likely to go pear shaped come January anyway. I guess I'm just at that age where I'm starting to think that maybe I should have a permanant 'Winter Warmer'. So seeing as I don't, getting a temp doesn't seem like a very appealing option right now. But for those of you who are all sorted, try to keep arguments and accusations to a minimum in Jan. Start your year as you mean to go on...XXX
